Headstone George Banting d.1874 Hambledon

Having searched Hambledon churchyard goodness knows how many times, today I walked straight up to the grave of my g.g.g grandfather George Banting.

In Affectionate Remembrance of George Banting

who fell asleep on May 26th 1874 aged 60 years

Beloved i come as a ___________ blessed is he that watcheth _______ his _________

Also of Eliza the beloved wife of the above died Nov 10th 1887 aged 72 years
