Banting Meredith Dissolve Business Hambledon
The following article appeared in the Hampshire Telegraph on Saturday 12th Feb 1887.
It relates the fact that Henry Banting and Joseph Meredith, of Hambledon Hampshire, who had been in business up until 1885, had elected by mutual consent, to terminate their partnership at that date.
So the Banting carpentry and building business had in fact been run as a partnership.
Henry’s son Harry joined him in the business and in 1885 would have been 17 years old
