Confirmation at St Georges Cathedral Jerusalem 1945

Arthur Edward Harry Banting was serving in the REME during WWII

In the latter stages of the war he was sent to the Middle East, first to Eygpt and then onto Number 2 base workshop in Haifa, Palestine.

At Christmas, 1945, Arthur, or Ted as he was known, decided to go the Jerusalem and join in the festivities. At that point, a group of them decided to get confirmed into the church, at St Georges Cathedral Jerusalem.
